The HEATSTRIP brand was launched in Australia in 2004. The Thermofilm design team saw great potential in creating a new type of electric radiant heaters.
The first model was intended for indoor use only and was an immediate success. Engineers and architects designed them for schools, offices, and many other sites in Australia and New Zealand.
The logical next step was to develop an outdoor version of the HEATSTRIP. The outdoor model had to achieve a much higher operating temperature. This presented unique technical challenges, and it took many hours of development and testing to refine this revolutionary model.
This eventually led to a wide range of different HEATSTRIP models. There are six different product lines in the HEATSTRIP range: Elegance, Design, Max, Indoor, Gas (a Good Design Australia selection), and the new Intense.
